With the Micron light curtains, Reer offers solutions for applications that require object detection, recognition and dimension measurement.
Depending on the number and position of the beams engaged by an object, Micron can provide real time information to a PLC or PC. It can detect the presence or absence of objects, perform counting, and identify position, shape, or profile.
The series are available in versions with programmable analog and / or digital outputs. It also supports an RS485 port with programmable functions and the IO-Link protocol. Micron Configurator software for PC, with graphic user interface, is supplied with each light curtain (models A and B only).
