The North Invent smaller sized Panel Computers (Wave XS 10.1" & Wave XS 13.3") are state-of-the-art computer concepts, built with industrial extended temperature components.
Designed for 10 years of manufacturing, they are boasting powerful 11th and 12th Generation Intel® Processors. The units have 10/point PCAP multitouch integrated into a slim design. As for all North Invent products, they remain fanless with low power consumption.
XL Series – Large Industrial Panel PCs, up to 65″
The North Invent XL Series is a line of large-format monitors, designed to set new standards in performance, reliability, and user experience. Since launching the first type-approved digital chart table, North Invent have expanded their portfolio to support a wide range of applications.
The Wave XL 65″ is the largest display platform, designed to provide excellent visibility and reliable performance in demanding maritime environments. Its expansive screen with a minimal bezel delivers clear and consistent viewing for navigation, situational awareness, and operational data, ensuring critical information remains visible when it matters most.
Engineered for integration on the modern bridge, Wave XL combines performance, ruggedness, modularity, and a lightweight construction that makes it easier to handle than many competing systems. The outer mounting points are equipped with built-in vibration dampening to maintain stability and performance in rough sea conditions.
Wave II Series – Rugged Industrial & Marine Displays from 18.5″ to 32″
The Wave II Monitors are a series of well-designed, rugged LED displays with full glass front and PCAP multitouch option.
The minimized outer measures and modular design offer unprecedented configuration and mounting flexibility. Their unique hinge ensures that table-top or ceiling mounting is equally easy and visually appealing as flush mounting the glass front into a cut-out.
Actually, the Wave II product is more than just a monitor. The on-board CPU allows you to run light applications directly on the monitor mainboard, ideal for light client functionality.
The touch units have been tailored from state of the art Projected Capacitive (PCAP) touch technology to obtain the same minimized outer measures as the non-touch version.
The Wave II monitors have been tested according to IEC 60945 and IACS E10 in addition to a range of selected MIL standards. Being confident about quality we walk the talk with a 3-year warranty.
Wave PERFORMANCE – Wave II Displays expansion to a PERFORMANCE Monitor PC
The Wave PERFORMANCE Box is a state-of-the-art computer concept, derived from the interchangeable Electronics Unit of the type approved Wave II monitors.
In fact, the SWAP solution allows you to upgrade from a monitor to a PERFORMANCE Monitor simply by exchanging the Electronics Unit, meaning you can have your PERFORMANCE version for any sized monitor – in both touch and non-touch versions.
Not only does this concept allow you to build your optimal monitor, Panel-PC or Box computer; It also makes service or upgrade a lot easier. You can reduce future service costs by more than 50% by simply exchanging the detachable Electronics Unit!
The Wave PERFORMANCE monitors come with more powerful CPUs, covering your needs from light client to full scale PPC. WaveLINK – GMDSS Touchscreen Communication System for Maritime Safety
The WaveLINK series, together with Thales VesseLINK, brings GMDSS functionality to the Iridium Certus network. Enabling GMDSS, SSAS, and LRIT on existing VesseLINK installations or as a complete solution for new builds. It consists of a 10.1-inch touchscreen computer from North Invent that manages GMDSS operations through a single, integrated interface.
WaveLINK is designed for dependable GMDSS communication across all sea conditions. Using the Iridium Certus network, it provides global coverage for safety, distress, and operational messaging, including in polar regions.
