The new Mosaic M1S COM master unit from Reer integrates two RJ45 network connectors.
These are used for fieldbus communication and remote network control.
New features in M1S COM include the following.
• Built-in fieldbus protocols: Ethernet/IP (default), EtherCAT, PROFINET, MODBUS TCP.
• Two RJ45 connectors for fieldbus and remote connection.
• 128-bit AES encrypted communication and RSA authentication.
• 10/100 Mbit communication speed.
Standard features include the following.
• Eight digital inputs.
• Four inputs for Start/Restart interlock, EDM, or single input devices.
• Four OSSD safety output pairs (PNP 400 mA).
• Four SIL 1 / PL c status outputs (PNP 100 mA).
• 128 logical operators for full system configuration (Master + 14 Expansion units).
